National Poetry Day in Arkansas is celebrated each October.
PRA hosts an annual workshop in honor of Rosa Zagnoni
Marinoni (former Poet Laureate of Arkansas) featuring guest speakers
and various activities.
The 2009 Poetry Day Celebration will be held in Conway and Little Rock, October 16-17, 2009
The 2008 Poetry Day Celebration was held at the Staybridge Suites in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The 2007 Poetry Day celebration (in honor of Rosa Zagnoni Marinoni) was held at the Comfort Inn in Hot Springs on October 19-20.
